We love this little town market! Best produce of all Marin County markets. Why? Because there is literally always someone posted there checking, replenishing and arranging the fruits and veggies. For a tiny space they pack in a lot of options - all of them fresh, crisp, clean, stacked... This store and its employees take great pride in making this section shine. The rest of the store does a lot with the limited space. You'll somehow find everything you're looking for. Everything! There is even an attached deli and liquor store. Up front is the largest selection of gourmet chocolate bars North of the Golden Gate. Great store. Great vibe!

To me, this place is the ideal local market. Friendly & helpful staff, with a wide selection of quality items to choose from. Produce is always fresh, high quality, and delicious! The meat counter is staffed by people that know their craft, and Henry makes sure there is always a unique selection along with staple items. Be patient when parking, it's Mill Valley... there's nowhere to park anyway! 😆

Absolutely amazing market! The grocery selection is small but has everything you'd need. They have a huge variety of amazing cheeses. Their deli is absolutely fantastic. Some of my favorite sandwiches in all of North Bay. They're huge and filled to the brim with amazing, fresh ingredients. The beer selection is good and the wine and liquor selection is incredible. The prices can be a bit high for some items but its always worth every penny. Everyone who works at Mill Valley Market is so friendly, polite and helpful. They have a have a small parking lot and bathrooms.

Excellent staff. Very good selections of everything from cheese, butcher shop items, produce, quality deli, local craft beers, wines, and day to day products. Too many things to itemize. The store is chock full, with narrow isles. We stay at a small AirBnB in Mill Valley. This store has everything! Oh!!! I forgot to mention that the staff is always upbeat and helpful. If you like to buy locally made food products, this is your chance to explore locally made food products.

High quality items beautifully presented with excellent service. Great selection! Everything you need for a picnic or being a guest in a local’s home. Tasty sandwiches in the deli. Slow down and take in the vibe.

I have a bit of a thing for grocery stores/markets. Visiting a good one is better than a museum for me- I can get totally absorbed in looking at all the little unique options for snacks, beautiful packaging details, or picking through spices I never knew existed before. The first time I went to this market, I spent about an hour wandering around in fascination. I started getting strange looks from the workers because I’d been there so long, just enjoying looking and perusing. Needless to say, there’s an amazing selection of goods here! If you don’t rush through or go straight toward a specific item, you’ll notice a lot of fun options that you don’t find at every other store. The deli section is also awesome and I’ve often gotten sandwiches here with family and friends before or after hiking. The store is on the expensive side but undoubtedly a quality choice. Highly recommend!

Besides being an incredibly well stocked specialty grocery store, MVM has an equally incredible staff! You ask a question & get a knowledgeable answer , they don’t pretend to know what they don’t . What they don’t know isn’t much , whether it’s the best rye bread or the most compatible white wine with halibut they’ll steer you straight . So grateful to the Canepas for our local gem. Thanks Doug , etc…..!

This little market is adorable — warm, clean, and full of charm. The hot food bar, soup station, and sandwiches all look delicious, and the whole place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it. I ordered a roasted chicken sandwich with all the trimmings — super tasty and a great value for the price.

I love this market! I work nearby so I often walk there to get my lunch. From freshly made sandwiches to the hot and cold bar and amazing fruits and snacks you can't go wrong. The employees are so nice and very helpful! And they have an amazing wine section!!

Cute small market has everything! Literally, plenty of premade food choices. Species, meat, veg, has a section of Asian cooking source. I never see so many different options of oat milk. Very clean friendly services and open long hours. We went in American day it is open! Huge amount of choice of fancy chocolate! Per food and house hold items too!
